About Us

Jenness Hall is an Executive & Leadership Coach. Her business, Ateri LLC, provides leadership coaching and strategic counsel to individuals and organizations focused on maximizing their potential. Her extensive experience spans a broad range of sectors including higher education, the corporate world, as well as cultural and social service organizations. She has worked with hundreds of individuals and organizations throughout the country on leadership, managing performance, and team performance. Jenness completed her training with the Coaches Training Institute, known as CTI http://thecoaches.com, and has achieved her designation as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). CTI was the first organization accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). Jenness holds her Ph.D. in higher education administration with a minor in American history from Indiana University in Bloomington. She earned a M.A. from Bowling Green State University in student personnel and her B.A. in English and history from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. Dr. Hall is an Associate Faculty member at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland where she teaches in the Business Department and the Nonprofit Management Master's program.

Jenness’ clientele ranges from entrepreneurs, information technology executives, non-profit executive directors, fund development officers, museum directors, and higher education administrators. Jenness challenges her clients strongly and courageously so they step into their greatness. She teaches curiosity and detachment, asks powerful questions, coaches her clients based on experience, curiosity, inquisitiveness, intuition, and practical insights. Jenness brings a marvelous sense of humor and a fresh energized perspective to her clients.

Jenness is a certified systems coach from the Center for Right Relationships (http://centerforrightrelationships.com) and an authorized facilitator of the Team Diagnostic Assessment tool from Team Coaching International (http://teamcoachinginternational.com), one of only 350 authorized facilitators in the world. The work of Team Coaching International focuses on the productivity and positivity of a team or system. It is fascinating work which allows team members to discover how to move forward to reach the desired goal in a positive manner.

Jenness is passionate about music, art, philanthropy, family, community, staying healthy while creating a life that is fulfilling, fun and flexible so she can do all she loves! She is on the Board of the Baltimore Choral Arts Society (http://baltimorechoralarts.org) and lives with her husband, two daughters and Shadow, their Weimaraner, in Baltimore, Maryland.
